Celebrating 35 years, the Museum of Indian Culture invites

you to Pennsylvania’s oldest Native American Indian festival.

Our next annual Roasting Ears of Corn festival will be held on the

grounds of the Museum on August 22 & 23, 2015.

Please join us for a weekend of American Indian drumming, singing, dancing, food and more. See Native American

Cooking and Flintknapping demonstrations, Artifact displays, Plains Indian tipi and mountain man fur trade encampments.  Experience throwing a tomahawk or using an atlatl (spear thrower).  Peruse the Marketplace for Native American Jewelry, Fine Arts, and Clothing.

Savor Frybread, Indian Tacos & Buffalo Burgers…

and of course, fire roasted corn.

There is plenty to do with the kids at our

children’s craft area from making sand art

pictures  to weaving  dreamcatchers, Painting the

festival mural or getting their face  painted.

We heard your requests               and excited to announce           that award winning,                 Violinist, and Native                   American Flutist,

Arvel Bird,

will once again be returning

to our celebration.  Check

back for performance times.

All things share the same breath -the beast, the tree, the man,

the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.
